Dear Friends:
Can you hear the silent cries? Can you see the pain behind the smiles of many men, women and children? Can you see the hope that is dying due to life’s many pressures? If your answer was yes to any of these questions, you see what the people of Holy Tabernacle have seen for years.
Holy Tabernacle is not just a church, but it is a refuge. We are determined to push diligently in the community and surrounding areas for the better quality of life. We will not sit inside four walls and wait for something to happen. We will pray for strength and go out and make it happen. With a team of committed people determined to succeed in changing lives, we will restore hope and rebuild families. Because of our love for the people, and our belief that we are our brother’s keeper, Holy Tabernacle has established a charitable organization known as The House of Grace. This program caters to the homeless, veterans, low-income and substance abusers. However, we understand that there is more to do. We work effortlessly to help as many people and change as many lives as possible. We acknowledge that not everyone is homeless, but in order to slow the homeless epidemic, we must face this problem head on. One of the solutions to this problem is to provide a year-round youth program, committed to job training, rehabilitation, life skill courses and reconciliation programs.
We will also make provisions for a class of people that seem to often be overlooked; a class of people that have paved the way for us. The people that I speak of are the elderly. With your help, we will help to provide the elderly with transportation to social events. We will pick up medications for the ones too ill to do it themselves or for those who live too far from public transportation. We will provide a facility for the elderly to gather in a safe, positive environment. We will transport any elderly to our facility for outings and events that they might not normally have the opportunity to enjoy. Because we honor and respect these pioneers, the elderly, it is very important to us that they live out their days in dignity. With your help, we can bridge the gap between hope and hopelessness. With your support, we will not only build bridges together, but also teach people how to cross over into hope and prosperity for themselves.
If, at any time, you have asked yourself, how can I help, here is how. Holy Tabernacle is in the developing stages of building a new facility that would accomplish these programs. With your help, we can finance this venture. Can we depend on your donation to acquire a building that would enable people to refocus and regain hope? With your contribution, we can maintain a balance and meet the spiritual needs of the people. With your cheerful, generous giving, we will be able to change lives, both inside and out. We will help the less fortunate and undesirable become desirable. With your assistance, we can change one life at a time. Your contribution is tax deductible. A donation of any amount is needed and appreciated.

Ratification of The Homeless?
We have seen and hear daily stories, where people have died while sleeping near rocks (to stay warm), or in subways, bus areas, parks or other public areas. We have seen and hear stories, of people losing their homes due to a fire and have been left out in the elements (e.g. cold) where no place to go. We hear and have seen stories, of people being tossed out of their apartments (who lived from pay check to pay check and had lost their jobs), and the have no where to go, and have no one to turn to. The truth is, these and other such stories go on and on. We must remember all homeless people don't want to be homeless and need, desire and want your make a contribution to society, their community and themselves. Please help us, give them a helping hand to get back on track and not just a handout.
